This comparison is published by Nolan. Rently’s pages were checked on October 19, 2026. The cost figures below are multiplication examples from its published list prices, not quotes.
What does each one cost?
Rently charges by listing credit, not by door. Its pricing page lists Standard at $28 and Premium at $37 per credit, and one credit is used for each active listing each month. Annual plans start at 50 credits. Premium is the plan with Ria, its AI agent. Max, with smart home and access control, is quoted by sales.
| Active listings each month | Standard, per month | Premium with Ria, per month |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | $280 | $370 |
| 25 | $700 | $925 |
| 50 | $1,400 | $1,850 |
On top of that, every self-touring unit needs an access device, and most smart home setups need a Rently hub. Rently lists no onboarding fee.
Nolan prices by package, with doors included, so the bill does not move with how many units are on the market. Its plans, the voice minutes they include and the rate after them are in the table above and on the pricing page.
How do the two workflows differ?
| Step | Rently | Nolan |
|---|---|---|
| Listing goes live | Rently’s own listing site and 20+ others | Stays where you already list it |
| Renter calls | Voice AI is marked as not yet available on its pricing page | Nolan answers on your number, day and night |
| Renter texts or emails | Ria replies on Premium | Nolan replies, and reads listing-site lead emails |
| Finding the right unit | Ria uses availability and prices from your PMS | Nolan asks for move-in month, budget and bedrooms, then sends the units that fit |
| Showing | Self-tour with an ID check and a lockbox or smart lock, or an agent tour | Booked into your Google Calendar; your access setup stays |
| After the tour | Ria follows up from where the renter dropped off | Follow-ups by text and email when you turn them on |
What should you test in a demo?
Call the number on one of your own listings at 9 p.m. and see who answers. Then text a question that needs the listing’s details, such as parking or pets, and check the reply against the listing. Ask a renter-facing question in a language other than English. Finally, book a self-tour and see what the renter has to do before the door opens.
Ask Rently how many credits a unit uses when it comes off the market mid-month, and whether unused annual credits carry over. Its pricing page says the annual pool resets at renewal.
Which one fits your team?
Choose Rently when self-tours are how you show units. Its lockboxes, smart locks, ID checks and wayfinding are things Nolan does not do, and its Max plan adds smart home and access control across a building.
Choose Nolan when the gap is the conversation: calls that go to voicemail, texts that wait until morning, and renters who never book. You can also run both, with Rently opening the door and Nolan answering the renter before they get there.
How should you read this comparison?
Descriptions come from Rently’s public pages and Nolan’s product inventory. They are not a performance benchmark, and a capability we could not confirm is not described as absent. Product names belong to their owners; Nolan is not affiliated with Rently.
